CampusQueue

TODO: A live queue tracker for the university registrar, so students can wait anywhere instead of in line.

The problem

TODO: During enrollment, the registrar line ran for 3+ hours. Students couldn’t leave without losing their spot.

What I built

  • Digital tickets scanned from a QR code at the door.
  • Live position updates using realtime database subscriptions.
  • Staff dashboard to call the next number with one click.

What I learned

TODO: Realtime features are easy to demo and hard to keep reliable. Next time I’d add load testing before launch day.
